Bishop Auckland’s Christmas Town is back this December with even more festive fun for the whole family. This year, we're running on a simple wristband model that lets you do more for less. Instead of buying individual tickets, choose a wristband and enjoy multiple attractions with one purchase.
How wristbands work:
Free entry to Christmas Town as always. Wristbands cover paid attractions.
Choose your day and wristband type below.
Collect your wristbands on arrival from the on-site box office.
One grotto visit per wristband included.
Did we mention it's unlimited? Enjoy attractions like the fairground rides and ice rink all day long!
The Bishop Pass (£12): On Thursday evening, the people of Bishop can enjoy a grotto visit, and unlimited fairground rides and ice skating ahead of the weekend at a special price. Limited availability.
Friday Night Pass (£18): Make it a big Friday night out with unlimited rides and ice rink, and a trip to the grotto.
Tipi & Tidings - Friday (£6): Tipi bar entry plus a free Christmas Town cup for cosy cheers.
Golden Pass - Saturday (£22): Unlimited rides and rink, plus one grotto visit.
Tipi & Tidings - Saturday (£10): Tipi entry, a show and a free Christmas Town Cup.
Golden Pass - Sunday (£22): Unlimited rides and rink, plus one grotto visit.
Tipi & Tidings (£10): Tipi entry, a show and a free Christmas Town Cup.
Beyond that, the Christmas Markets, roaming entertainment, and winter installations are completely free to enjoy.
Christmas Town is mainly outdoors. All attractions have maximum capacities, so queuing will be necessary. Rides and shows may pause or change in severe weather. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult on all attractions. All children get one adult per wristband to accompany them in the grotto - additional adults require their own wristband. Excluding the grotto, all attractions require all children and adults to have a wristband.
