Bishop Auckland Choral Society invite you to join them for an evening of choral music through the ages, celebrating 750 years of St Andrew’s Church. Enjoy a musical journey from the Elizabethan songs of Tallis and Byrd and the Baroque music of Purcell and Handel to the inspirational works of early 20th century composers Elgar, Parry and Vaughn Williams, and more modern works by Rutter and Fanshaw. Our choir of 30 voices is led by our accomplished Musical Director, Venera Bojkova, and accompanied by gifted pianist Duncan Brown. The concert will also feature performances from several invited soloists. Refreshments included.
